Cestovní granty jsou určeny na podporu kulturní výměny a umělecké spolupráce mezi profesionály (skupinami, umělci, administrátory, lektory) ve Spojených státech a partnery v ČR (resp. ve střední a východní Evropě). Žadatelem může být pouze občan USA či nezisková organizace v USA registrovaná. Termín do 30. dubna 2004.

Applications Invited for Theatre Communications Group/International Theatre Institute Travel Grants

Theatre Communications Group/International Theatre Institute Travel Grants are designed to support cultural exchange and artistic partnerships between professionals in the United States and their counterparts in Russia and Eastern and Central Europe. The program was developed by Theatre Communications Group ( http://www.tcg.org/ ) in collaboration with the International Theatre Institute ( http://www.iti-worldwide.org/ ) and is funded by the Trust for Mutual Understanding.

The program awards theater professionals (artists, administrators, or educators) grants of $2,500 each. Grant funds may be used to cover transportation and living expenses essential to the project, including research materials, communication costs, theater tickets, and/or the services of an interpreter.

Theaters applying on behalf of theater professional(s) must be U.S. nonprofits with tax-exempt status; have aprofessional orientation and high artistic standards; and employ professional artists and administrators.

Individual theater professionals must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the U.S. and wish to initiate, continue, or deepen relationships with artists and/or theater companies in Russia and/or Eastern and Central Europe (i.e., Albania, Belarus, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Herzegovina, Hungary, Macedonia, Moldova, Mongolia, Poland, Romania,Russia, the Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Ukraine, and Yugoslavia).
