The Meteorit International Art Festival ve slovenské Kolárově
The Budapes Sun Theater pořádá od 10. června do 25. září 2005 ve slovenském Kolárově The Meteorit International Art Festival.
V jeho první části organízatoři plánují mistrovské kurzy pro herce, režiséry, scénografy a kostýmní výtvarníky. Druhá polovina programu (od 14. do 25. září) bude zaměřena na soutěžní přehlídku představení jednotlivých účastníků.
Cílem festivalu je vytvořit celosvětově uznávaný divadelní workshop, podnítit vznik nového uměleckého centra a rozšířit spolupráci mezi divadly, které by mohli s účastníky připravit během festivalu další představení.

The Budapest Sun Theater organizes an art festival in the city of Kolárovo , Slovakia from the 10th of June until the 25th of September 2005. Our aims are the build up of an exigent, worldwide known and recognized theater workshop, the creation of an art center , the cooperation among theaters, which would provide continuous programs and courses starting from June 2005 for the audience, theater people, as well as for artists and musicians, for all who are fond of ambitious culture.
The METEORIT International Art Festival is organized every year.
In the first part of the festival we organize master courses for actors, directors, stage-setters and custom designers.
In the second half of the program set (14 September 2005- 25 September 2005) we are planning to start off with the METEORIT International Theater Festival, which forms part of the contest. We would be more than happy to receive your participation with one of your performances.

Please also attach the following information to the video-tape:
· The title of the piece, the Author's name, and a list of all who created the performance (director, stage-setters, custom designer, cast etc…)
· How long does the performance last
· All necessary technical conditions for the performance (minimal size of the stage…)
· Number of your staff (for your information: within the competition we provide you with 2 light technicians, 1 sound engineer, 3 stage setters, 1 hairdresser, and 1 dresser.
· Please also send us one placard, or leaflet, and 5 photos taken of the performance
Your participation will be accepted until the 10th of March 2005.
The performances will be played within the contest program. The shows will be valued by an international committee.

The cost of traveling for all productions and its staff is in all cases covered by each group. ( Mailing of invitation letters to win applications, and acceptance of participation can be ararnged on demand of the participants).
The organizers will provide accommodation and meal three times a day for all staff of the productions during the whole contest.
Why Kolárovo?
The city of Kolárovo is situated close to the Hungarian-Slovakian border, to the capital of Austria, and to the cities of Esztergom, Tatabánya, Tata, Komárom, Győr, Nyitra, Dunaszerdahely, Somorja, Párkány, and Léva. The array of the city is suitable for the organization of such big-scale events. On the squares we will pull up tents for performances and concerts, but as part of the off programs several productions will take place in regional houses, or at alternative sites.
