The National Theatre – Opera is holding auditions for male dancers

The National Theatre – Opera is holding auditions for MALE DANCERS for the Baroque opera Rinaldino (Georg Friedrich Händel), Premiere April 4th, 2009 at the Estates Theatre in Prague

Auditions will be held on Sunday October 26th, 2008 beginning at 10 a.m.
Location: Anenské nám. 2, 110 00 Praha 1
(across the square from the Theatre on the Balustrades).

Knowledge of classical or modern dance is strongly recommended, but knowledge of historic dance is not required.

Graduates of the audition will participate in dance workshops conducted by Francoise Denieau and Andrea Miltnerová in January, 2009. Rehearsals for the performance will take place every day from the end of February through March, 2009 including Saturdays.

The production of Rinaldo will be performed at the Estates Theatre in Prague until November 2009 (dates to be announced), and will then tour Caen (F), Luxembourg (LX) and Rennes (F) in April and May, 2010.
